These were some of the cakes I was making when I first started… the difference 8 years make!

It’s so easy to look at other people’s work and think you’re not good enough or you’re not progressing quickly enough, but you really do just have to keep going.

I’ve learnt SO much over the last 8 years, made a lot of s**t cakes 😂, made a lot of mistakes and definitely had moments where I wanted to give up.

But looking back at these makes me realise how far you can actually come when you just keep practising and don’t give up.

So if you’re at the beginning of your cake journey and feeling like your work isn’t where you want it to be… keep going. You’ll surprise yourself one day
