This image taken today by Elliott is one of my favourite images of the year to date.

Around 200 cherry trees were planted in 1953 to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. 

They form two long, expansive avenues (one sometimes divided by horse chestnuts), creating a tunnel-like canopy of pink blossom when in bloom.

This is an amazing reminder of why we love to live in Harrogate & own an independent business in this beautiful spa town.
