The Oval Cafe is ran by non paid volunteers who think it's important to make a place for communities to come together. We will always try our best to craft you great drinks and welcome you warmly and kindly. The Cafe is proud to use coffee sourced only from roasters that work towards building relationships with coffee farmers around the world, as well as using locally sourced food. Our passion for

people drives us to make the 'World a better place.' 100% of the Oval Cafe profits are directed to worthwhile charitable projects, both in Harpenden and around the world.

We‘ll be CLOSED for a week, reopening Tuesday, 1 September!

As a volunteer run cafe, we want to give our wonderful volunteers who have served so well all summer the chance to take a holiday. We will also use this opportunity to get some back of house renovations completed!

We apologise for the lack of caffeine during this time.🥲 Come buy a bag of retail this week and get stocked up!
