Godfrey’s is a family run fish and chips takeaway and restaurant serving some of the very best fish and chips in the UK. We take great pride in every aspect of our business.

We're hiring for takeaway counter staff.

No experience necessary - in fact we prefer it that way – as full training is given.

The role will include:

Opening checks and preparation
Taking orders
Customer interaction
Serving Orders
Cleaning down
Washing up

You will need to have a logical approach to things and not be afraid of hard work - we have a great team, where everyone contributes.

For the right person, hours are flexible but we’re looking to hep 6 days a week (closed Sunday) between 12:00 and 17:00 and possibly some evenings

This is a permanent role, so not just for summer.

Salary: £8.00-£12.00 per hour

From this week we're open again on Tuesdays in Harpenden.

Pleased to say we're opening for takeaway again from tomorrow (Thursday 21st Jan). As a temporary measure we will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays to enable better staff bubbling. Gluten Free in Harpenden will move to Wednesdays.

Please try to call ahead with your orders, you can call anytime from 11 to book a slot for the evening.

We can't wait to get frying again.
