For those of you that have been following the blog I'm sorry I've not posted for a while. So back to the bladder chemotherapy. It wasn't unpleasant at all really. Not painful or uncomfortable. Sleeping was a bit of a problem. I had to try and sleep either on my back or on one side. If I turned over the catheter pulled and was very uncomfortable. I was a bit sore inside where they'd cut the tumour out. It was keyhole surgery so there was no real problem with stitches etc. I was determined to be out of hospital and back to normality as soon as I could. [ 782 more words ]

I came round in the recovery room and all felt ok except for a little discomfort "down there " A porter came and wheeled me back to the ward where Cathy was waiting for me.
