The Scarecrow Festival and Pumpkin Trail happens Wednesday 28 October; we've got a fantastic offer for a terrific family day out by train!

The theme this year is space! 🪐👽🚀🔭

Halesworth's shops will display scarecrows where you can find letters to solve the puzzle to fill in your trail sheet.

New to the Scarecrow Festival? Don’t worry, it’s easy! Your rail ticket includes a trail sheet. When you board the train head to the front carriage and our very own scarecrow will greet you. We'll guide you once we arrive at Greater Anglia Halesworth; the pedestrianised Thoroughfare is only a few minutes walk from the station.

Between 1.30pm and 3.30pm, head to St Mary's Church for free crafts, snacks and even more fun!

Once you complete your trail sheet, take it to Hetty's Little Copy Shop or Halesworth Library; both are in the Thoroughfare. Don’t forget to vote for your favourite scarecrow!

You can take your time as you can return home on any train!

Rail tickets £5 adults, £ 3 kids.
