Polegate Plodders The formation of the Club was an idea put forwards by a group of locals with a Iove of running. We are a friendly running club.

Non-affiliated membership only costs £15 a year! Our Sessions

Monday Session - 7:15pm

Meets at - Costa Coffee, Polegate

Coach - Gary Manley

Typically a longer run of between 7 and 10K, everyone is welcome as long as you can comfortably run 10k. Average pace is between 6-7 min/km (10-11 min / mile)


Tuesday Session - 5:30pm

Meets at either:

Costa Coffee, Polegate/Eastbourne Seafront/

Shinew

ater Park, Langney

(Depending on time of year and weather)

Run Leader - Heather Long

Everyone welcome, provided you can run 5K comfortably, this is typically a slower pace inclusive session, no-one is too slow! Wednesday Session - 6pm

Meets at - William Daley Park Gates

(Opposite Manor Way/Brightling Road Junction, Polegate)

Run Leader - Ian Weston

This will either be an interval session to sharpen speed which is suitable for all abilities, or a steady pace run of up to 10K


Thursday Session - 6pm

Meet at - Costa Coffee, Polegate

Coach - Caroline Gearing

An interval session that caters for all abilities. A fun session that helps improve fitness by using a combination of shorter, faster runs mixed with slow recovery runs or walks.

The Heritage trail run very hilly but the scenery was so amazing on a clear sunny day well done Polegate Plodders running over 10k XCountry and not to mention Michelle Pope getting First Lady congratulations very well done considering she ran the London Landmark only last week.
