Over fourteen years ago we opened our little family restaurant, (next month would have been our 15th birthday), and every single day since then we have been honoured to serve the people of Hailsham and beyond. We have made many friends and had many great times. We have enjoyed cooking and hosting all your birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas parties, Valentines, date nights and get-togethers. We have been privileged to serve as romances blossomed, babies arrived, and children became young adults. We have shared happy times and sad times, and we thank you for all the memories.
Things have changed a lot since we first opened, and the town has got a lot bigger, and we were always excited to welcome new faces and say hello, good evening. Only last week we were placed in the top 10 family neighbourhood restaurants by OpenTable, in the whole of the South East, something we were very proud of. So today is a very sad day for us as we have to say Goodbye. The ongoing pressures we as a busines have found ourselves under recently mean it is no longer viable to keep trading. It is with eternal gratitude that we say thank you to you all, and we are so very sorry to leave. From ourselves and all our staff, past and present, we thank every single one of you. But it is time now to say thank you and goodbye.
