A Humble Message for All Residents of Benfleet, Hadleigh, and Leigh-on-Sea
We have noticed a growing number of people walking the streets hungry.
As the cost of living spirals out of control, we have seen people go into restaurants and takeaways across Essex in recent months asking for food. At Pink Chilliz Benfleet, we have teamed up with a few other takeaways across Essex and decided that we will not let these individuals go hungry anymore. Hunger is a pain only truly understood by the person experiencing it โ when the body weakens, the mind struggles, and even basic strength begins to fade.
We may not be rich enough to feed every single one of these hungry people, but we will try our best to cater to as many as we can. With your help, we can bring a smile to the less fortunate. From a very young age, I was brought up being told that charity starts at home, and it is now time to put that into action.

โHe is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbour to his side goes hungry.โ

Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) said:
โFor I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.โ

We kindly ask our community: if you see anyone in or around who may be struggling with hunger, please direct them to us. If you also know of any elderly pensioners who may be struggling, please refer them to us as well.
