Here we go, the start of what promises to be a mental week.

Then on saturday we have normal service plus we're at Guisborough Rugby Club to serve Pizza for the TNT Fitness We're a Knockout event!

That one promises to be a laugh as it looks like soft play for adults!

Amongst all this chaos, one would hope to fit a glass of wine or two in!

📢 Guisborough Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result 📢

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Guisborough Neighbourhood Plan referendum held on Thursday 2 July 2026.

The results were:

✅ Yes: 2,850 votes
❌ No: 155 votes

Turnout: 20.6%

With an overwhelming majority voting Yes, the Guisborough Neighbourhood Plan has received the support of local residents.

The Plan has been developed by the community, for the community, and will help guide planning decisions across Guisborough Parish until 2040. It aims to protect Guisborough's unique character, green spaces and heritage, encourage high-quality and sustainable development, support the local economy, and ensure future growth reflects the needs and priorities of local people.

Special thanks and recognition go to the members of Guisborough Town Council’s Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group, who have dedicated their time, expertise, and commitment over the past several years to bring this Plan to fruition. Their work, alongside wider community input and consultation, has been central to achieving this outcome.

Thank you to everyone who voted, shared their views during the consultation process, and supported the development of the Plan.
