A massive thank you to all of you who joined us for our Gigr Charity Afternoon Tea yesterday, and to those who made donations or purchased handmade cards. It was a really lovely day!

We raised a fantastic £650 for Breast Cancer Now and Macmillan Cancer Support!!

The gorgeous handmade cards are still available in Gigr if you would like to buy one, all proceeds will be donated to the charities (thanks so much )!! Should you wish to make a donation to these amazing charities, you’re not too late, just pop it in to Gigr before Friday and we will add it to our grand total!!

Of course, we also want to say a huge thank you to Trish Walker for being our inspiration, much love 💕

**It’s almost time for our Charity Afternoon Tea 🫖 supporting breastcancernow and macmillancancer! We have a couple of tables left for our 12 noon sitting this Saturday 5th September.

Come along and enjoy fresh and toastie finger sandwiches, made with the finest ingredients, cheese 🧀 or fruit scones with all the trimmings and delicious sweet treats and cakes 🍰 ! Wash it all down with a pot of tea, or treat yourself to a glass of Prosecco 🥂!

£25 per person, add a glass of Prosecco for £5!

Our 2pm slots for our Charity Afternoon Tea 🫖🍰🥪🥂are now fully booked!! We do have some limited availability for the 12 noon slots so please message or call ASAP if you would like to book and help us raise much needed funds for two amazing charities💕###

💕On Saturday 5th September, we have a very special Afternoon Tea 🫖 event planned at Gigr!!💕

One of our beautiful friends, and regular customers, Trish Walker, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She has faced this with so much bravery, with so much love ❤️ and support behind her. After surgery and treatment, she is now cancer free and we are absolutely over the moon 🌙 for her !!

Therefore, our Gigr Afternoon Tea event will be in support of Breast Cancer Now and Macmillan Cancer Support. We will donate all profits from the sales of the afternoon teas to these exceptionally worthy charities, who support patients and their families, as well as fund research into life saving treatments.

We will be offering two sittings for afternoon teas on this day, at 12 noon and a 2pm. Spaces are limited and therefore booking is essential, please drop us a message or call us to book. A deposit will be required to secure your place.

Our Gigr Afternoon Tea 🫖 for two will be £25 per person and will consist of:
Two flavours of cold sandwiches
Two flavours of our Rustic Toasty sandwiches (made with our delicious cheese and/or charcuterie)
A cheese or fruit scone each with all the accompaniments
Four delicious cakes and sweet treats
A pot of tea or coffee
(Vegetarian options are available)

Upgrade to a glass of Prosecco 🥂 for an extra £5!

If it’s a hit, we may even start to run Afternoon Teas on a regular basis!!

We are absolutely blown away by the generosity of everyone who came to support our Charity Gallery event this afternoon! We are so pleased to have raised £700 so far for ‘A Leaf from Sheila’s Book’ from entry money and sales today.

The beautiful framed prints remain on display in Gigr, and are available to buy and take away so please do call in and have a peruse! We will also share photos of the full range of prints currently available to order.

With the help of everyone who was kind enough to donate, we can make sure that we continue to pay forward the kindness that she always showed others. So thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your generosity and kindness. We know Mum would be so pleased, and grateful to you all ###
