WE ARE CLOSING!!!!

That’s right, it’s not a trick, we closing down and this is our last week. Times are tough on the high street at the moment, we’ve kept going as long as we can but costs are up and takings are down as so many people are currently having trouble finding money for luxuries like us.

Our last cafe day will be tomorrow.

We will be doing a MEGA HUGE CLOSING DOWN SALE on Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm, so come by for some board games bargains or even a piece of the cafe - everything must go!

I know a lot of you will want to say goodbye to us, we are planning on doing a goodbye event in a couple of weeks, details to follow soon.

It’s been an incredible 7.5 years. I’m so proud of the team we have here and everything we’ve accomplished together. All the good times people have had under our roof and the friendships and relationships that have been built.

A few of you have been asking how you can help. Felicity is organising a whip around for the team here to make sure we can send everyone off with something nice. So if you have a favourite game that we taught you and you fancy throwing some coins in a hat, the link is below.

Is this the best party game of the year?

Awesome Foursome is so much fun. In this game flip a card, pick a category and write your answers for most popular, match with one player, match with nobody and wrong but matches with at least one player.

The answers you get in this are hilarious, we didn't want to stop playing!

Game of the week!

First Giants is a lot of game in a small box. Build a fossil museum by collecting cards, activating combos on those cards as you go. Collect amber to turn those cards into exhibits, you'll get more points for exhibits but you'll lose that part of your engine.

Great for fans of Res Arcana, if you're great at figuring out the pacing of a game and pivoting your strategy accordingly, you'll love First Giants.
