Residents exhibition artist spotlight: Rosie Clear: a 21 year-old creative based in Guildford, Rosie’s portraits date back to her time in college where she studied both Photography and Art. She portrays the complex range of human emotions with a focus specifically on anxiety and depression and the phenomena that usually get missed. She creates haunting and obscure visuals, of her own personal experience with mental health, using image manipulation - both manually and during the editing process. Her aim is to create a significant and tangible product, that can be seen and understood by those with similar trials, and conceptualising what a mental health disorder feels like to those who aren’t familiar with it firsthand.
