The Star, in the heart of Guildford, has been entertaining the people of the town for more than 400 years and is proudly continuing that tradition as the area’s longest-running live music venue. Close to the vibrant shopping district, river and Guildford Castle, the 16th century pub is split over three levels and has been refurbished to the highest standards while maintaining many historic feature

s. With a real fire, an intimate courtyard and a host of snug and cosy corners, it is a great place to relax, to soak up the atmosphere and to enjoy traditional pub food and distinctive cask ale. In the evenings, the mood changes in the separate function room as the pub’s fully-equipped, specialist music venue comes alive with regular entertainment from blues to stand-up comedy.

VERY pleased to announce that £1,048 was raised for the Forward 4 Wiz Trust last night at The Star Inn Guildford. Mega thanks to soulscraper, Mega Fishy Four, Splitbox, Andy Higgnett, Michael Vickers, Kevin Burgess & DJ Ed-Liner for playing for free. Will did an amazing job with the sound too. YOU ALL ROCK! Mega cheers also to the sold-out audience too, making it a night to remember x
