📣 An update from the Directors 📣
We are aware that there are numerous rumours flying around about what is happening at the Green Man and wanted to update you as best we can.
As you will hopefully appreciate there are details that we can't currently give but when we can we will.
When we took over the pub last year we wanted it to be the heart of the village, and we apologise if that's not been the case.
We are not here to make excuses we have tried our hardest to make it work but there are many obstacles and difficulties to running a pub beyond simply having the b**r the guests want.
Despite rumours we are not trying to destroy the pub or flatten it for housing, we wanted to make the pub a success and unfortunately in that we have failed.
We found out last week that we have been served notice that our agreement is to be terminated, we are currently in discussions regarding our exit and the timeframes around that.
We appreciate that as a village you want a great local pub and that is what we tried to give you.
Please bear with us during this difficult time whilst we work to secure the future of the team, and try to get the pub back open later this week as our discussions with the landlords continue.
