✨ THE MENU IS HERE! ✨

One week to go until our very first An Evening with The Funki Chef at Coffee Comfort, which means I can FINALLY tell you what I’m cooking! 👀🩷 there are still some tables available to book, so just drop us a DM if this sounds like something you’d like to eat on Saturday night 👩🏻‍🍳🩷

STARTER

Prawn Cocktail
Pan-fried king prawns in homemade Marie Rose sauce, with avocado & mango salsa, crisp little gem and fresh herb oil.

MAIN

Beef Fillet
Pan-roasted beef fillet with creamy Parmesan polenta, buttered Savoy cabbage, rich red w**e jus & pomegranate rubies.

DESSERT

Chocolate Fondant
Warm dark chocolate fondant with a molten white chocolate & raspberry centre, served with homemade raspberry ice cream.

We’re so excited to finally share it with you…

✨ An Evening with The Funki Chef ✨

For one night only, Coffee Comfort is staying open after hours while I cook a specially curated menu for an intimate evening of good food, good company and a few little surprises along the way.

📅 Saturday 29th August
🕡 6:30pm
💷 £45 per person (£10 deposit to secure your booking)

The menu? That’s staying under wraps for now… 👀 We’ll reveal it one week before the event.

✨ Spaces are limited, so once we’re booked, we’re booked!

To book your place, just send us a message. We’ll send you a payment link for the £10 deposit, or you’re welcome to pop into the shop to pay instead.

When you book, please let us know:
• How many people you’re booking for
• Any dietary requirements or allergies

This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while now and I honestly can’t wait to share it with you all.

With the Springboks playing England tonight, Hannah has made a batch of traditional The Funki ChefMilk Tarts.

Creamy, cinnamon-spiced, buttery pastry goodness… the kind of bake that feels like home. 🤤

And yes, we know Scotland are playing tonight too! We’ll be cheering them on straight after the Bokke… but let’s be honest, while South Africa are playing England, all Scots are honorary Saffas for the evening. 🤣🇿🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Anything left at closing time is coming home for rugby snacks. Obviously. 🤭🏉

🍰 All our home baked cakes in the cake fridge is just £1.50🧁

The rules are simple…

We might be here until 4pm… but if the cakes disappear before then, we’ll be closing up early and getting our weekend started too!

The ones who fix things, carry things, teach things, find things, barbecue things and generally keep the show on the road.

We see you. We appreciate you. And today is your day.

We hope you’re spending it making memories with your favourite people, whether that’s out on an adventure or simply enjoying some quality time together.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control and unforeseen staffing issues, both Coffee Comfort and The Funki Chef will be closed tomorrow.

We’re incredibly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and understand that many of our lovely customers had planned to visit us.

These situations are never taken lightly, but on this occasion we have had to make the difficult decision to close for the day.

Thank you, as always, for your understanding and continued support.

☕ Coffee Comfort will reopen as normal on Monday.

👨‍🍳 The Funki Chef will reopen as normal on Tuesday.
