We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join our friendly team at The Black Horse, Great Missenden.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in preparing high-quality, homemade pub food in a welcoming village pub. The role includes producing traditional Sunday roasts, burgers, pies, fish and chips, along with a selection of daily specials. We are not looking for fine dining or gastro pub experience; we are looking for someone who is passionate about serving honest, well-cooked pub classics.
The position is Wednesday to Sunday, covering both lunch and evening service, with Mondays and Tuesdays off. We are looking for someone who is organised, works well under pressure, can confidently manage a kitchen, and enjoys contributing to simple, seasonal menu development. Experience with stock control, food hygiene, and kitchen management would be an advantage.
