Every year, Houghton Hall hosts a major sculpture exhibition, and this year’s spectacular display by Lynn Chadwick is not to be missed.

Wander through the stunning gardens and beautiful parkland as Chadwick’s iconic sculptures are set against one of Norfolk’s finest country houses.

The exhibition is only here until October, so don’t miss your chance to see it.

The perfect Norfolk day out… then back to us for a long lunch, a glass of wine, or dinner. Sounds like a pretty good plan to us.

Meet Daphne. 🐾

Part of the DD team, chief mascot, and unofficial emotional support dog.

She takes her role very seriously, making regular rounds of the pub, greeting guests, accepting fuss on demand, and generally keeping a close eye on proceedings.

The good news? She’s not the only dog welcome here. We’re proudly dog friendly throughout the pub, and many of our rooms are dog friendly too, so your four-legged best friend can enjoy a Norfolk getaway right alongside you.

Just don’t be surprised if Daphne thinks she’s the one in charge.

When your favourite vineyard puts you on their T-shirt alongside some of their favourite venues. 🍷

Mark and I have a special affection for Campuget. Not only do they produce some of our favourite wines, but over the years we’ve built a genuine friendship with the family behind it. We have built many memories, lots of love and laughter.

We love pouring their wines at The Dabbling Duck, and we’re incredibly proud to see Great Massingham listed alongside places from around the world on their latest T-shirt.
