Happy Lincolnshire Day! 🌾

Living and working on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, we know how truly special this county is, and we think the best way to celebrate our community is through the incredible people who feed and water it.

To us, using local isn’t just a slogan, it’s about supporting our neighbours, honouring our roots, and serving you food and drink with genuine provenance. Today, we’re raising a glass to the brilliant local independent businesses who help make our pub what it is.

From crisp la**rs poured fresh from Bateman’s Brewery and small-batch Edwards Potato Vodka crafted at Elsham Wold Distillery, to the perfectly curated bottles brought to us straight from Steep Hill Wines in Lincoln, our bar is packed with true Lincolnshire talent. Over in the kitchen, we’re proud to feature the iconic, rich taste of Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese right across our menus, alongside fresh Grimsby haddock delivered straight from the coast to your plate.

We’re beyond lucky to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the makers, brewers, fishers and curators who keep our corner of England so delicious. Pop in and raise a glass with us today - what’s your favorite Lincolnshire treat to celebrate? 💛💙💚

Not to be dramatic, but... this dish. 😮‍💨

New to the menu on Fridays & Saturdays - and I have thoughts.

Roasted supreme of chicken - quite possibly the most succulent chicken I’ve tasted in a while - served with THE crispiest, most mouthwatering potato rosti and earthy hen of the woods mushrooms. All paddling in a delicious chicken butter sauce, with little touches of orange gel and tarragon oil to keep things fresh. 🍗🍊

This might be my new favourite thing on The New Inn menu. And I’m not just saying that because they pay me to big them up online. Get it while you can, and save some for me.

✨ Meet the Team: Luke ✨🍴

Luke is The New Inn’s newest chef - he settled in about two months ago, fast becoming a familiar face around here!

His favourite dish on the menu at the moment is our fish and chips, although if you’re struggling to decide what to order, he thinks you can’t go wrong with the steak.

We asked, and he says his favourite thing about working at The New Inn is the atmosphere, being part of a great team, working in a busy kitchen and enjoying the buzz of the pub.

When he’s not in the kitchen, Luke enjoys going to the gym and spending time working on his car (and an Amstel in his hand wouldn’t go amiss, but he’ll take whatever beer’s going!)
