Immediate Vacancies for Cooks & Baristas
Overview
Join our team as a Cook & Barista, part-time. The position would ideally suit an experienced Cook & Barista with at least 5 years experience who is available to work 3 days a week including 2 weekends a month.
You will need to have strong customer service skills, an outgoing, friendly & welcoming personality, we are also dog friendly.
Able to work in a fast paced environment and remain professional and calm is essential.
Please do not apply if you are not available to work 2 weekends a month.
The week will be shared with other kitchen staff on a Rota basis
Pay rate from: £12.71 per hour, however this will be discussed in person dependent on experience
Job Description:
Assist with food preparation
Cook breakfasts & prepare sandwiches, wraps,etc
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly
Help with serving food to customers or guests in a timely and friendly manner
Ensure the kitchen area is organized, stocked, and ready for service at all times
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to uphold a safe working environment for all staff
Support the team during busy periods by multitasking efficiently and maintaining a positive attitude
Experience of making hot and cold drinks, Coffees, Hot Chocolates, Milkshakes and Smoothies essential
Ordering stock and stock control
REQUIREMENTS
Previous kitchen experience or culinary background is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods & lifting moderate loads
Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work ethic
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
A proactive approach with a genuine interest in food preparation and hospitality
