We were delighted to support Extent Stage Productions - a local youth theatre company in Thurrock, by contributing to their upcoming fundraising raffle and helping to support their young performers.

And that’s a wrap on our giant pastries🥐 Our very first customers this morning also happened to enjoy our very last Giant Croissant, shared together alongside a family favourite, our Golden Fountain Fondue 🥹

What started as a limited-edition idea became something so many of you came to Chocofay every weekend to experience and share with your families, friends and loved ones 🤎

Thank you for all for trying, sharing, coming back for another one… We’ve loved seeing how much you loved them ✨

For now, we’re saying goodbye to our Giant Croissant & Giant Pain au Chocolat and making a little room for what comes next… 👀

A special day for our team NXT XI FC 🤎⚽️

Today marked their first official game, and we were proud to be there on the sidelines supporting the boys as they took that first step together.

Lots more football ahead and we’re super excited to follow, support and cheer on our team throughout the upcoming SFL U16 season.

100 Back to School packs. 100 local children. 🎒

With the new school year beginning, we wanted to do something meaningful for local families and support the amazing work of The Kids Bank HQ, right here at Lakeside.

The Kids Bank HQ supports local families by providing children with the everyday essentials they need, helping make sure no child has to go without.

We carefully put together 100 Back to School packs for children aged 3-12, each filled with essentials chosen for their stage of school.

We hope they make the start of a new school year that little bit easier for 100 local families. 🤎

Meet NXT XI ⚽️🤎

Before everyone headed back to school, we had some of the NXT XI FC team visit us at Chocofay with their parents and coach John.

NXT XI are an FA Accredited grassroots football club based in Dartford, and we’re super excited to be sponsoring their kits for the upcoming season 🙌

It was lovely meeting some of the young players, their families and John, and getting to know the team we’ll be supporting throughout the season.

We can’t wait to see the boys in their new kits and follow their progress ⚽️

For us, Chocofay is about more than what we serve. It’s about the people around us too, and doing our bit to support young people, families and the communities we’re part of 🤎

It’s the people who make Chocofay special 🤎 Seeing familiar faces return, watching families grow and becoming a small part of your time together is something we’ll never take for granted.

Chocofay simply wouldn’t be what it is without the people who come back, support us and continue to share these moments with us ✨

Earlier last week, one of our regular families came to visit with their beautiful newborn daughter, just two days old 🥹 Hearing that Chocofay was one of the first places they wanted to visit together truly meant so much to us 🤎

Thank you for another wonderful week at Chocofay and we are so grateful for each and every one of you 🙌

Our team were surprised with these beautiful handmade drawings and thank you cards 🥹 they absolutely made our day 🤎
