This week, we’re introducing one of the familiar faces here at Toby Carvery Gravesend — our fabulous Shift Supervisor, Lou! 👋

Lou has been part of the Toby Carvery family for over 10 years, so it’s safe to say she’s part of the furniture! 😂❤️ She’s also a firm favourite with many of our regular guests.

This week, we’re introducing you to Ryan, our Assistant Manager at Gravesend! 👋

Ryan has an incredible 20+ years of Toby experience under his belt! He did take a little break from us to work in patient transport for the NHS, but he missed us (and we missed him!) too much — so thankfully, he came back! ❤️

So, what does Ryan love most about working at Toby?
👉 Our regulars! He loves seeing familiar faces, catching up with our guests and enjoying those great interactions that make every shift special.

And if you’re looking for something a little different from the carvery, what does Ryan recommend?
🥧 The potato pie! A firm favourite and a great alternative to the traditional carvery.

Carol is one of the friendly faces that greets you at breakfast, and today we’re celebrating an amazing 5 years of having her as part of the Toby team! ❤️

Carol joined us in the year following the Covid era, when there was still plenty of uncertainty. From day one, she has been an incredible team player, always happy to lend a hand wherever she’s needed — whether that’s putting deliveries away, pulling a pint, or making sure our guests have a great experience. 🍻

She’s one of the hardest workers you’ll meet, and we’re so lucky and proud to have her as part of our team! 🥰

It’s time to introduce you to the friendly faces behind Toby Carvery Gravesend and the people who make our restaurant what it is! ❤️

First up, let’s meet our General Manager, Clare! 👋

This weekend, Clare will be celebrating an incredible 26 years with Toby Carvery — so it’s safe to say she’s a bit of a seasoned pro! 🎉👏

🍫 Clare’s favourite menu item?
As a self-confessed, obsessed chocoholic, it has to be the Brownie! Because, as Clare says, there’s always room for pudding! 😋

❤️ And what does Clare get up to outside of work?
Clare loves spending time with her two children, taking walks along the river, enjoying a good trip to the theatre, and she’s a true true-crime ju**ie! 🔎👀
