This is a little bit about us.......

Adele & Rick, took over the Retreat in May 2015. Adele is from a hotel background and grew up in Reeth, just the other side of the Yorkshire Dales. Rick worked for Bolton School, but was based in the Lake district working as the senior Instructor at their outdoor activites centre in Patterdale. We are both very passionate people and love the outdoors, our favourite place being the French Alps, which we have had many holidays, both in the summer time Mountain biking and Skiing in the winter time. We also love walking with our little dog Lola, she is slowly turning into a grumpy old lady, being 15 years old now, but she still loves to run around the hills and explore the new walks in Grassington. The Retreat caters for a variety of dietary requirements, many being Gluten free, Dairy free, Vegan & Vegetarian diets. We also offer a wide selection of main meals and cakes to suit, along with serving Afteroon Teas every Friday & Saturday from 2.30pm. In July 2016 our Evening Bistro opened, offering quality home cooked food by our Chef Paul. The Bistro is open every Friday and Saturday evening from 6.15pm.
