It breaks my heart to write this, but the time has come to say goodbye to Blooms & Brews.
For the first four and a half years here in Grange-over-Sands, we truly flourished , growing faster than i ever imagined .
When we first opened, we took Grange by stormโจ๏ธ, delivering the most beautiful flowers-creating thousands of bouquets and delivering throughout the South Lakes and Furness daily, covering hundreds of miles to bring joy to your doorsteps ๐ฉท
Looking back, we as a team are incredibly proud of our achievements over the last 6 plus years-from dressing the prestigious Cartmel Races and securing amazing local hotel contracts, to receiving wonderful award nominations, and creating the florals for so many truly amazing weddings along with beautiful, heart warming floral funeral tributes and allowing us the honour to be apart of that at the hardest point in someone's life ๐ซถ
However, the current economic climate is hitting small independent businesses on the high street incredibly hard ๐ฅ, as well as affecting everyone else in their daily living expenses.
Navigating skyrocketing costs alongside the general financial squeeze everyone is feeling has become an uphill battle coupled with the harsh reality of difficult health challenges, I have reached a point that i need to put me and my health first .
Instead of letting these struggles pull us down further, I would rather step back now and go out on a high while celebrating everything I and my amazing team have built โจ๏ธ

๐ฉทFirstly a very special, heartfelt thank you goes to my amazing daughter, Lauren. She came into the business with little knowledge of flowers having had her children. Retraining to become a florist and her persistant hard work has made her the amazingly talented florist she is today and she has truly held the shop together when I have been ill, all while working so hard and juggling her own young family.
โจ๏ธWe are also endlessly grateful to Paula, who has been an absolute superstar helping us with our large weddings and being an amazing friend through it all.
โจ๏ธ We also want to say a huge thank you to Christine, a well-known local who came into our lives the very 1st week we opened. From Day 1, she has been an amazing friend to me and my family, and her incredible help since we moved premises has meant the world to us. I am so lucky to have had such a dedicated & talented team , and true friendship in our corner.
๐ฉท More than just customers, YOU all became our community. We have received the most amazing support, made lifelong friends, and loved being that familiar, welcoming space where people could pop in daily. Whether you needed a beautiful arrangement, a caffeine fix, or just a listening ear on a tough day, we were always honored to be there for you, letting me my team and my family into your hearts.
โจ๏ธTo our future wedding couples, please do not be concerned. All of our couples have been contacted prior to this post, and we will continue delivering the most amazing florals for your big day, offering the exact same service as before, run straight from our home studio.

We will continue to serve daily Tea, Coffee , Cake and our lunch menu over the on coming weeks but will no longer be taking orders for fresh flowers ..We will continue to take Faux & Dried flower orders along with door wreaths & Hanging baskets .
โจ๏ธWedding bookings for fresh flowers and floral funeral tributes will continue to be taken with a cost saving with not having overheads in shop โจ๏ธ
Our final day at the shop will be announced in the near future .
Please pop in before then so we can look back on our favourite memories, listen to a few more stories, and share one last cup together.
