For all of you that have followed us closely you would have known that the Growlers Cafe has been developed in to a new community venture.

We have had a soft launch and a community consultation and we have made a few decisions.

Quite frankly we cant beat Bradley's (Growlers) breakfasts... so we are not going to try, we will be doing breakfasts but not the Growler....... Hats of to you Sir Growler, King of Breakfasts

With all our community bits going on as well as the cafe, we have gone back to the title deed with "Church Lane Community Centre" Called so because its the community centre on church lane....

Can i add as this seems to have caused a degree of confusion "we are not a religious group" the building just happens to be on Church Lane. We are open to all for a friendly place to eat, relax and join in some activities.

The Churchlanecc team would to say a huge thank you to Bradley (Growler) during this transition and he assures us that he will maintain a constant figure at the centre and play a active role in the future of the centre.

Please keep following us at our new page Churchlanecc

Our Story

The Growlers Cafe operates from the Church Lane Community Centre on Church Lane, Gorleston on Sea. Located across from the Sixth form college the cafe has been part of a bigger project not only to create a save eating environment at affordable prices but to also increase opportunities to local residents and utilise the attached recreation ground.

To find out more about the larger project please check out the ChurchLaneCC page www.facebook.com/churchlanecc the website www.churchlanecc.co.uk or just pop in and say hi.
