The Catherine Wheel (TCW) is an 18th-century award-winning ale house located 2 minutes walk from the Thames Path in the picturesque village of Goring-on-Thames. People have been drinking here for around 350 years and we keep that as a priority, but also know that fresh produce and good food should not be exclusive to gastro-pubs and our seasonal menu reflects this. We had a very select few for the Quiz last night, thanks to all who joined us. Special thanks to Tony for a great Quiz!

The Strollers were the victors and donated their winnings to Breast Cancer Now, who will be our nominated charity for August.

Next Quiz will be 9th August, when we will be selling tickets for our bumper charity raffle 🎀

Well that’s a wrap for Spinning the Wheel 8! What a fantastic weekend of music 🎶 We hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed it as much as we did. Massive thanks to James Bermingham and the band for an epic afternoon of music yesterday, ably supported by our fave DJs the Tequila Twins on the decs.

Special thanks to our charity auction bidders Danny & Annica, £600 raised for Childline.

We couldn’t run the event without our ‘amazing’ TCW team, you are all superstars ⭐️

And of course, extra extra special thanks to Mark Baker & Jeannette Rosato who’s help and support with all things music, posters, cup design and endless other things is immense 🥂
