Before summer slips away, give yourself a little time to create, relax and enjoy. 🎨
If you missed our previous announcement, this is your chance to join us for a few hours of creativity, inspiration and good company — and perhaps take a little bit of summer home with you. 🌿
Take a look at the wonderful atmosphere from our previous workshop and imagine yourself joining us this time!
Our wonderful volunteers, Jeannette and Maria, will be your creative guides for the afternoon. Coming from the corporate world, they know how valuable it is to step away from the busy everyday routine, slow down and make space for creativity.
Through art, they have discovered a new way to express themselves, explore their creativity and bring more colour and light into their lives — and now they are excited to share that experience with you. 💚
No artistic experience needed! Just come along, try something new, relax and enjoy some creative time with us.

🌊🎨 SUMMER ART WORKSHOP: THE SEASIDE
As summer draws to a close, why not spend the last Saturday of the season getting creative?
Join us at Yew Tree Café for a relaxed and inspiring afternoon where you can step back into your favourite summer memories — or create your own vision of summer and the seaside.
Experiment with different techniques and materials, from watercolour and acrylics to coloured pencils, collage, oil pastels and more. There’s no right or wrong way to create — just come along, have fun and enjoy the process.

Led by two inspiring local artists and volunteers

Not sure what to do with this almost-summer weather? 🌤️
Sun appears, disappears… and we just go with the flow.
Our advice: don’t trust the forecast — trust the focaccia!

Add a Greek Salad with our hummus topping, and you’ve got yourself the perfect lunch.

🎨 Summer Through Watercolour
These workshops are not about perfection or artistic skill. They are about slowing down, exploring creativity, meeting lovely people, and allowing yourself to enjoy the process.
Art has a quiet way of healing us. It helps us reconnect with ourselves, express emotions without words, and bring more colour into everyday life.
This summer, we are so lucky to have two wonderful volunteers bringing creativity, warmth, and colour into our café through their art workshops. Both spent many years working in the corporate world and are now embracing a new chapter of life, rediscovering themselves through art while gently helping others do the same.
There is something truly special about being around them. Their energy is calm, kind, and inspiring — the kind of people who make the world feel softer, brighter, and a little more beautiful.
Whether you have painted many times before or have never picked up a brush, you are warmly welcome. 💚
