Many of the refill products previously available at Roots are now available from the The Gloucester Refillery on Westgate Street - you may even meet some familiar faces! They are carrying on the vision of sustainable living through refill shopping.

They've just created a facebook profile, so please do follow it if you would like to keep in touch with their news. There is also a click and collect service available.

Can you help them reach more than 100 followers in one day?! :)

After a difficult few weeks following the sad closure of Roots in Alvin Street, we’re delighted to share some uplifting news…

💚 A new refill shop is opening in the city centre this Tuesday 24th March!
📍 The Gloucester Refillery –

80 Westgate Street

Tues – Sat, all days 10 – 4

Thanks to a huge amount of hard work, care, and support, we’ve been able to bring this new space to life in an incredibly short time. We’re so pleased to keep refill shopping alive in Gloucester and continue offering a sustainable, community-minded way to shop.

Our small team — Owen, Rosie, Sue and Richard — would love to welcome you through the doors of The Gloucester Refillery. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or brand new to refilling, please pop in, say hello, and see what we’ve been building for you.

Thank you for supporting us. Here’s to new beginnings, community spirit, and a greener Gloucester. 💚♻️

We have concentrated on being open as quickly as possible and will be developing the space as we go to suit our customers needs.

There will be lots more to come, including a website that will enable you to check what’s in stock, do ‘click and collect’ and hopefully also, in time, a delivery service!

Doors are now open for community spaces / charities / other 'not for profit' organisations to come collect toys, games or arts&crafts. If you are not one of these then we cannot give them to you for free, anything left over will be included for purchase by others in the clutter sale at 4pm.

Good morning Roots community, hopefully you have all had a chance to look over the ongoing furniture auction and make some bids, it is open till 12:00 today.

I can now let you know we will be having a clutter sale today from 16:00 to 19:00 (4pm to 7pm) to try and find new homes for our remaining bits and pieces. Pictures above so you can have a preview. Come on down for one last chance to help us reduce waste. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Do you have a community space or events? We have lots of toys, games and craft goodies that need a new home!
Needs to be rehomed as soon as possible, Thursday at the latest.

Good afternoon Roots community. Our last few days of clearing out is underway so wanted to drop by and give a heads up we have a lot furniture and assorted bits and pieces that we will need to sell. More details to follow but giving a heads up to make people aware earlier rather than later.
