Good evening to you all. Hope you are all well. Well today has been a tough day and another very emotional one. More tears!!! After nearly 3 very hard and long weeks we finally got the restaurant totally emptied and locked the door for the very last time!! That was extremely hard. But before we did that i stood and remembered all the wonderful times we have shared with you all and all the wonderful friends we have made over the 12 years. So I thank you all for giving us the pleasure of your company and for all the memories we will keep for many years to come. Our success at The Barge has been entirely down to you guys supporting us the way you did. I can't thank you enough. We would also like to say a massive thank you for all the cards we received (76 in total) and for the many gifts we received in one form or another. It was all totally overwhelming and to be honest blew my brain away. All your generosity was just out of this world and totally unexpected. I won't say goodbye as such as I'm sure our paths will cross again in time to come. So until then take care each and every one of you. Love you all xx

Hi all. Hope you're all well. Here we go, deep breath for this post! As most of you are already aware, after almost 12 years our journey at "The Barge" is soon coming to an end. Therefore we will be hanging up our aprons, sadly, for the last time on Sunday 13th April. So from the bottom of our hearts we would like to say a huge thank you to each and everyone of you for sharing our journey and for all your support, friendship and such lovely memories you've given us. You've all been fantastic and you will all stay with me in particular for a long time. Thank you all. Take care xx

Good morning all. Hope everyone is keeping well. We are a bit behind with Christmas this year but as we still haven't sold up we are still trading as large as life and looking forward to Christmas. Good morning on this delightful day!! As you all know tall ships festival is fastly approaching. Due to it being so busy we will not be taking bookings for those 3 days followed by a day off on Tuesday the 28th May to recover!!!! Unfortunately we will also be closed on Tuesday 4th June following a small op on my hand. Sorry for any inconvenience caused but this is unavoidable. Take care all and thanks for your understanding.

Good Morning and Hello to you all!

We hope you are keeping safe and well and we look forward to welcoming you back from Tuesday 18th May.

Please note we will not be open Fri 21st & Sat 22nd for evening dinner but will begin evenings again on the 28th and 29th of May.

Until further notice you are required to scan in with the NHS App or alternatively we will take contact details for everyone over the age of 16, not just one person per group as before.

Maximum number of people per table will be 6.

We hope to see you all in the not so distant future and again welcome you back from the 18th May.

Hope you are all keeping safe and well.

We would just like to thank you all for the lovely gifts, cards and well wishes we received for Christmas. Was very kind of you all and much appreciated.

Thankyou all once again. Due to the new restrictions we have no idea when we will be back but will hopefully look forward to welcoming you all back as soon as we can.

Good Evening All,

Thankyou for your continued support through these tough times and hope you are all keeping safe and well!

We just wanted to let you know we will be closing at 14.30pm on Christmas Eve and will be aiming to reopen on the 5th January.

We will be deciding our opening hours upon the next Government announcement.

Please enjoy your Christmas the best you can and we hope you and your loved ones continue to stay safe.

Hope you are keeping well,

As previously mentioned we will be reopening tomorrow (Tuesday 7th July) for sit in meals. The menu will be reduced while we adapt to the new way of working.

Opening Hours are as follows

Tuesday 7th ---> Saturday 11th
10.30am - 16.00pm (Last orders at 14.45)

Sunday 12th
10.30am - 15.45pm (Please note that there will be no Sunday Roast for this week only)

From Tuesday 14th July
Tuesday 14th ---> Thursday 16th
10.30am - 16.00pm (Last orders at 14.45)

Friday 17th ---> Saturday 18th
Daytime: 10.30am - 16.00pm
Evening: 18.00pm - Last orders at 20:00pm

Sunday 19th
