Wholly Gelato

A few weeks ago, we were delighted to welcome 4 stars of the Gloucester-Hartpury team to the farm for a gelato and farm visit.

Whenever time allows us to host visiting groups, we love to showcase the authenticity of the calf to cone, grass to glass story, and the ladies were incredibly willing to get involved (the pictures sure are proof of that!) and ask questions about everything that goes into our farming and food production.

Each of them had a try at making the gelato and milking the cows and we have said that if they are ever considering a career change, then they know where they can come..! Although given that one cow did choose to urinate on one of them, then maybe 1 of the 4 might not be so keen after all….!

Thanks to and their partnership with the Gloucester-Hartpury Team for enabling this visit!. We wish the girls all the best in the off season, and look forward to them returning to the pitch once again in the Autumn!
