Due to Severn Trent Water taking legal action against On Toast, we will be closed tomorrow Wednesday 2nd September in order to attend a Magistrate’s court hearing in Cheltenham at 10-30am.
Hopefully we will be able to present the evidence to magistrates in our defence, for a forced entry order to carry out work, Severn Trent Water are demanding, not to be granted to the Water Company, or for the hearing to be adjourned for the evidence to be scrutinised before a final decision is made, due to the complexity of this case.
If the order is granted tomorrow , with the law siding on Severn Trent’s case, then general water fittings in all public buildings around the Country that have not been inspected by the water companies are, according to Severn Trent Water, illegal and are a “serious risk to public health” an issue, which even, from correspondence we have received, The Water Minister Emma Hardy, DEFRA or the local Environment Health Department are certainly not aware of.
Has your public building and water fittings been inspected by Severn Trent Water in the last 26 years??
Sorry for the closure and any inconvenience it causes.
David
