I've had a few new followers recently, so thought i would come on here and introduce myself.

My name is Kathryn, obviously, I live in longlevens with my husband, 2 boys, 12 and 10 and my dog muffin, who is 12 in November, fingers crossed

My love for baking started when I was very young, I remember baking with my gran, many a times, stood on a chair, in the kitchen, and I did cakes for family before this, but I didnt start baking properly until 2020.
Someone asked on facebook if anyone can make a cheesecake and I thought, I can do that, and it started from there really.
I have a lady who was one of my first customers, still ordering off me now, which is brilliant, she loves my cheesecakes ❤️

I hate people being late, waiting around for someone to turn up, when I could be doing something else. 10-15 minutes, yeah ok, but ive had people be a few hrs late before now, with no message, no sorry, wow!!
That's like be not being in when you come to collect an order, its just rude.

I'm always happy to help, where possible and I like to give customers cheaper options / designs, when ordering a bespoke cake, as each element to a cake changes the price, which they are more than likely not aware of.

I've learnt lots of things along the way, you cant please everyone, and I've also learnt to say no to outrageous orders.
I had a guy asking for a black forest cake via text message at 8pm. I asked him when he needed it for and he said tomorrow morning at 9am, um no!! I will go out of my way to help, but that was just to far.
I've also learnt that I'm not always the right baker for someone and not every customer is my customer.
Home made is more expensive than the supermarket, but you do get what you pay for.

My best sellers would have to be chocolate crunch, Millionaire shortbread, Custard slice, chocolate fudge cake and anything lemon, oh and my mince pies 🥧

I have a Pop Up Shop once a month at my house, so if you would like to pop over for some goodies, it would be great to see you

Thank you to everyone who came to see me today, really much appreciated.
From 9:30 - 10:15, I never had anyone come to the table, so I thought this was going to be my last Pop Up Shop, but you must of all been having a lazy morning, as It soon picked up.

I do have a few spares, if anyone couldn't make it or would like some more 😋
