joy a meal at home the China Garden offers an extensive Chinese take away menu too. The restaurant can seat up to 80 people and so is a perfect venue for weddings, birthdays and special events. It has a lovely conservatory area and gardens too - perfect for summer dining. If you are looking for function rooms this restaurant is well worth considering. If you are planning a larger event, looking for conference facilities for corporate functions or business meetings or arranging an extra special party the restaurant also has a large marquee. The China Garden Chinese Restaurant is situated on the A38 at The Whitminster Inn, just off junction 13 of the M5 Motorway. It is just 10 miles from Gloucester and 20 minutes from Bristol and has ample parking making it convenient and easily accessible. The restaurant and take away are open seven days a week:

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected kitchen equipment failure, we have had to temporarily close the restaurant and takeaway until further notice.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank all of our customers for their patience and understanding during this time.

Please be assured that we are working hard with our suppliers and engineers to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Our priority is to get everything back up and running safely so that we can welcome you back and continue serving the food you know and love.
