Another awesome Tapas Evening 🇪🇸

Thank you to everyone that came and enjoyed, we’ve had such a lovely response to it! The next one will be on 30/09 from 6pm.

Huge thank you to David Nash for creating the Spanish atmosphere with the flamenco guitar sounds. Next month it will be a duo which will take it to another level. Book in early to save disappointment 🙂‍↔️

Have you visited us before? ✨

Not only do we serve delicious food and drink, but we’re surrounded by some pretty beautiful countryside too. It’s the perfect little escape from the usual routine. 🌿

Just on our doorstep, you’ll find this little treasure at Over Basin. The walk takes around 10–20 minutes there and back, following the basin where the swans roam, with goats and all sorts of wildlife to be heard (and sometimes spotted!) along the way 🦢🐐

We’re very lucky to have this beautiful spot right on our doorstep… and the best part?

When you’re back, pop in and reward yourself with a cold drink🍹🍷🍺 Whether it’s a pint, cocktail, glass of wine or a soft drink, we’ve got you covered

This Wednesday, 6–9pm, join us for our Tapas Evening with live Flamenco guitarist, David Nash 🎸

We still have a handful of tables available, so if you’re thinking of joining us, please do book in!

Due to the unpredictable weather, we have limited indoor seating available, so we’re keeping numbers limited Fingers crossed for some sunshine so we can bring you that true Spanish evening feeling ☀️🇪🇸

David will set the mood, our kitchen will bring the tapas, and we’ll have special drinks prices for the evening 🍷🍹

Another wonderful review 🥹🙏

Enjoy the next few weeks dining, wining and soaking up the sunshine on our beautiful ( and slightly rustic) riverside terrace. We promise, it’s just what you need ✨

So many of our guests tell us they feel like they’ve escaped on holiday when they’re here, with the jazz house beats, European style cuisine, good drinks and, of course, our riverside setting 🍷

FRONT OF HOUSE, BAR & KITCHEN ROLES

We’re looking for some new faces to join our team at The Lock Keepers from the end of August / September!

A few of our wonderful team members are heading off to university (or heading back!), so we’re looking for people to fill some of their very much missed spot!

What we’re looking for:
🔞18+
📈Experience is a bonus, but not essential- we care more about your personality and attitude
🏙️Available for evenings and weekends, as these
will make up the majority of our available shifts.
👯Friendly, confident and great with people.
An interest in hospitality, food, drinks and creating
a great experience for our guests.

If you’re at university, starting university, or simply looking for a fun job alongside your studies, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re a small, busy and friendly team, and no two shifts are quite the same
