A Message from Coffee House 43

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, welcoming independent coffee shop where customers, staff, and the local community can enjoy a positive atmosphere.

Unfortunately, today our team experienced behaviour from customers that was rude, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable.

Our staff come to work each day to serve great coffee, prepare fresh food, and provide the best possible service. They deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect at all times.

Let us be absolutely clear: abusive, aggressive, intimidating, or dishonest behaviour towards our team will not be tolerated!

We are a small, independent business, and whilst we value every customer who walks through our doors, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who treats our staff unfairly or behaves in a way that impacts others' experience.

Thankfully, incidents like this are rare, and we would like to thank the overwhelming majority of our wonderful customers for their continued support, kindness, and encouragement. You are the reason Coffee House 43 remains such a special place to visit.

Kindness costs nothing. Respect goes a long way 💛

Unfortunately, our shop is much hotter today than it has been all week, and the team are finding the temperatures a little too much.
