The Fettykil Fox is situated in the heart of Glenrothes, We are central for most modes of transport with easy access to Glenrothes Town Centre and we are only a few minutes from the A92. We cater for large parties so should you be looking for somewhere to hold a large family meal or a quiet dinner for 2, the Fettykil Fox really is the place to be. Next up in our Meet the Team series… it’s Karagh! 💚

Karagh has been part of the Fettykil Fox team for 3 years and, while she’s currently busy on her nursing placement, you’ll still find her with us in the evenings and at weekends 👩‍⚕️✨

When she’s not serving up your food, you’ll usually find Karagh enjoying one of two things…

🍷 Our new wine glasses - because the refurb wasn’t complete until she had the perfect glass for a cheeky tipple. Her drink of choice? A Hugo Spritz, obviously!🍸
🍗 Her favourite dish from the new menu: Chicken Parmigiana

And when it comes to management problems, Karagh has developed a very specific strategy…

Hide in the kitchen😂

And if that doesn’t work? Phone one of the other managers for the answer because, in Karagh’s words, we’re the “Manager Pro Max’s” - why solve a problem yourself when you have a whole management team on speed dial?

Three years in and we wouldn’t have her any other way 💚

Meet Emmy 👋

It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time to meet the team!👀

First up, we’ve got our lovely Emmy 🤎

Emmy joined the Fettykil Fox team back in February 2025 and, as the youngest member of our team, she brings plenty of energy, confidence and bubbly personality to every shift!

If Emmy’s your server, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll leave with more than you originally planned… because somehow, she’ll have convinced you that you definitely need the flatbread starter, the pudding… or ideally, both! 😂

But what does Emmy love most about working at the Fettykil?

🔌 Favourite part of the refurb: the plug sockets behind the new benches - priorities 😂

We’re going to miss having Emmy around when she heads off on her next adventure, but for now, you’ll still find her doing what she does best - chatting, smiling and probably trying to sell you a pudding! 🤭

A MASSIVE thank you ❤️

What a weekend it’s been! From our VIP night on Friday, to opening our doors to everyone on Saturday, and finishing with our first Sunday roast back yesterday - it’s safe to say we’ve been thrown straight back into it!

To everyone who came along, whether you were joining us for the first time or coming back to support us after our refurb, thank you. Your support has genuinely meant so much to the whole team.

And a special thank you for your patience too. As with any reopening, we’ve had a few unexpected challenges and teething problems along the way, but you’ve given our team the time and understanding to work through them, and we really appreciate it.

We’re back open today and already looking forward to doing it all again! 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday and helped make our reopening weekend so special - it was so good to have you all back through our doors!

And if you couldn’t make it yesterday… don’t worry, we’re doing it all over again today 👀

Our doors are open and our Sunday roasts are ready to be served… even the team have been getting stuck in, so we can confirm they’ve had the seal of approval 🍽️✨

And just like that… we’re ready for you! 👀

Last night, we opened the doors for a very special Friends & Family evening - giving our kitchen and front of house teams the chance to put all their training into action before the big reopening.

And what better way to test everything than with some of our favourite regulars, friends and family around the tables❤️

The food was flowing, the drinks were poured, and after 4 weeks of waiting, it finally felt like The Fettykil Fox again 🥂

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our VIP night such a success - you’ve given the team the perfect final run-through, and now…
