Built in 1890, it served as a tea house for tourists visiting the famous walks and waterfalls of Gleariffe Glen. Glenariffe (Queen of The Glens) is situated amid the world-famous Glens of Antrim, an area of outstanding natural beauty where tourists have been coming for years. 💖💖 A fond farewell 💖💖
After 19 unforgettable years, it is now our time to say farewell. As many of you may already know, we handed over the reins on 24th November.
Laragh Lodge has been like our second home, filled with memories, friendships, laughter, tears, and moments we will cherish forever. We’ve watched families grow, celebrated life’s milestones with you, and shared countless conversations across the tables. Each of you has become part of our story, and we are profoundly grateful for all the support you’ve given us over nearly two decades.
Heartfelt thanks to our amazing family, staff, both past and present, with special recognition to Michael—none of this would have been possible without your support, passion and dedication.
We know you will continue to extend the same warmth and support to the new owners, Malachy and Paul McAleese, as you have shown us. They bring great energy, and we’re confident that the restaurant will be in good hands.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this journey.
