About Us
Coffee is at the centre of our business and we are proud to serve one of the most sustainable coffee’s in the world. It is grown by indigenous communities who actively preserve the environment within which it is grown and the communities are supported to ensure that they continue to prosper and benefit from their hard work and guardianship.

We put quality and customer service, sourcing locally where possible and supporting the local economy. For products necessarily sourced from further afield, we buy from people who actively support small, family owned growers, if not directly from the growers themselves.

The Role
We are looking for a front of house team member, focusing on one thing above all else - customer service. You will be responsible for making sure our guests are welcomed with a smile and looked after during their visit. This means ensuring tables are clean and presentable, taking orders at the till point and communicating with your fellow team members effectively.

What are we looking for?
• Great customer service skills
• Flexibility within the role, we are looking for team players
• Communication skills are a must
• Ability to maintain quality and standards during busy times
• Passion for food and drink

What do we offer?
• Competitive rate of pay, to be discussed if selected for interview stages
• Flexible working hours
• Complimentary food and drink choices whilst on shift
• Team discount when visiting during your day off
• Friends and family discount
• Skills training, we invest in our team with training initiatives
• Much more to discussed at interview stages

Fungi have ancient origins, with evidence indicating they likely first appeared about one billion years ago, though the fossil record of fungi is scanty. Fungal hyphae evident within the tissues of the oldest plant fossils confirm that fungi are an extremely ancient group.

Happy 2021!

Even though we celebrate coffee 365 days a year, today we celebrate International Coffee Day 2021.

For us, it’s a way of taking extra time out of our day to appreciate the efforts of the hard working farming communities around the world.

Working with Mayni espresso and organic oat milk, to celebrate today in true style!

Running a successful hospitality business requires a mix of creativity and science.
-
The recipe to success is often a combination of persistence, consistency and passion. However, like baking a cake, it takes skill and experience - following a recipe doesn’t always go to plan.
-
Let’s continue this metaphor; the wrong ratio of ingredients will cause an undesirable outcome. Too much flour and the cake falls apart, or becomes extremely dry.
-
The same can be said for when making mistakes with your schedule - too few rota’d for a busy shift and the service falls apart.
-
This is our collaboration with for ‘The Ultimate Chocolate Cake’. An organic, vegan and gluten-free wonder!
