Thank you for all the kind messages after yesterdays announcement. It means the world to me to know how much you guys love The Glasvegan. I want to make sure everyone knows that the cafe will be running as usual through this transitionary time. We have lots of exciting things planned, including trialling dishes for a new spring time menu!

Dear all you wonderful glasvegans,

2023 was an amazing year: winning awards, creating tasty dishes, building a fantastic team, growing as a business, and meeting all of you. With this, I am sad to let you all know my intention to sell the cafe.

I want to thank you all for a brilliant year. It’s been my absolute pleasure to serve you guys each and every day: learning about your families, healing your hangovers, trying your favourite music, and trying your favourite spots in Glasgow. I genuinely love this cafe dearly and it has come to be a second home to me (maybe even my first home). However, due to personal circumstances I will no longer be able to stay at the helm of The Glasvegan ship.

I would love for the cafe to stay a vegan hub for the centre of Glasgow, and for the new owner/s to continue the great work we do here at The Glasvegan. If you believe this might be you or you know someone who would love this opportunity, pease don’t hesitate to get in touch: [email protected]
