PLEASE SHARE — WE NEED YOUR HELP!
This isn’t a post I particularly wanted to have to write, and I don’t usually share too much of the behind the scenes stresses of running a small business… but on this occasion, we really need to call on our community for help.
This week was due to be an update on how we are currently expanding and looking for more full time staff members (this will still happen) but unfortunately, due to circumstances completely outside of our control, Root + Fuel needs to find a new home and we have around two months to do it.
So we’re putting the feelers out far and wide in the hope that someone knows someone who might have the perfect space for us. 🤞
We are VERY open minded about what that looks like.
It doesn’t need to be an existing commercial kitchen. We’d consider a unit, workshop, unused commercial space, existing kitchen or somewhere that could be converted/upgraded to work for food production.
The good news is we come with our own commercial equipment, so we’re not looking for somewhere beautifully fitted and ready to go. We’re much more interested in finding the right space that we can make our own.
We are also open to a temp space until we find something with the limited notice we have and to avoid a situation where we need to stop trading 😢, I’d hate for you to go hungry!!
Ideally we’re looking in Glasgow and the surrounding area, with enough room for Root + Fuel to continue growing.
We’ve built something we’re incredibly proud of, and we’re determined that this little bump in the road isn’t going to slow us down. 💚
But the clock is officially ticking.

And even if you can’t help directly, a share could genuinely be the thing that puts this in front of the right person.
