Freddy & Hicks Independent cafe serving Handmade Burgers (beef, chicken, veggie, vegan), Loaded Fries, Mac & Cheese. BYOB! We have had quite a journey over the past few years.

We started as The Veggie Table in London at Borough Market in 2006 selling vegetarian burgers & salads and street food has exploded in London since then. We moved to Swansea in 2009 and opened our seaside café The Kitchen Table whilst still managing the market stall in London. Then in 2015 life pulled us up to Glasgow and we waved goodbye to Swansea. In 2016 The Veggie Table joined forces with good friend Jill Engledow and became Big V, totally veganising the menu in London. We’re so happy to be living in Britain’s most vegan-friendly city now and its such an exciting time to be part of Glasgow’s growing food scene. We want to pour our time and love into our new home, so Big V is staying in London and we’re using our experience & energy to create something especially tailored to our new home. On Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays call the shop and we'll deliver your dinner to your door (Fridays & Saturdays remain sit-in & takeaway only).
Cash only. £5 delivery charge. G41, G42, G43 & G44.

We've posted about Old Skool Loaded Fries sooo many times over the last 10 years but they're still going strong 👊. We created these for Big Feed back in the old days (chips and olives - wtf??) and they're a firm favourite with regulars, if you haven't tried them yet what are you waiting for?!
