As some of you may already be aware, last year we put the cafe up for sale. Today, we handed over the keys, and with a heavy heart we’re saying goodbye to the business we started almost seven years ago.
Like any business we’ve had our ups and downs, good days and bad, but we’re thankful for every customer who came through our door these last seven years, and especially for our regulars who we’ll miss so much. We’re sad that circumstances mean we aren’t able to say a proper goodbye and have one last hurrah this weekend, but it really has been a pleasure and a privilege to serve you all and to be a part of the Great Western Road community. We wish the new owners every success for the future & hope you’ll support them as you’ve supported us.
We also want to say a massive thank you to our staff, who helped us get back on our feet after COVID and who will be staying on at the cafe under the new management. We know how loved they are by our customers, and we’ve been very fortunate to work alongside such a great bunch. It goes without saying, but we really couldn’t have done all this without them.
So… that’s that. Thank you again to everyone who supported us, who helped spread the word, who left a review, who brought their dog in for a visit (we’ll REALLY miss the dogs) - it’s meant the world to us. We hope it meant something to you, too. Over & out. Peace & Love - SNow
