CORE. PRESENTS…

Born where the dust bowl never died, the West-Texas raised trio that is Shallowater – Blake Skipper (guitar/vocals), Tristan Kelly (bass) and Ryan Faulkenberry (drums) – combine slowcore, post-hardcore, country, and Americana elements that defy genre labels. Quickly establishing themselves as ones to watch in the alt-country/slowcore scene, the power trio’s self-described “raw West Texas dirtgaze” has positioned the band as an evocative and distinctive force amongst current alternative genre-blending projects.

The band put out their sophomore record God's Gonna Give You a Million Dollars in September 2025, garnering support from Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, Alt Press, Beats per Minute, Fantano and more. Produced by Alex Farrar (MJ Lenderman, Wednesday, Indigo de Souza), the record walks the line of country and slowcore, swallowed up with heavy, distorted instrumentals and soft, dynamic reprises - and even a feature from fellow West Texas musician Hayden Pedigo.

Despite being a relatively newer band, the trio has garnered significant opportunities including playing mainstage at Austin City Limits in 2025 and is gearing up for their second major festival, End of the Road, in September 2026.

Shallowater has supported Horse Jumper of Love, Dutch Interior, Hayden Pedigo, Teethe, Flooding, World's Worst, The Raveonettes and more.

Tickets from link in bio

Edinburgh based cult-indie songwriter Withered Hand (Dan Willson) emerged from Scotland’s Fence Collective music scene in 2009, releasing his acclaimed debut album “Good News” the same year.

Touring the UK, Europe and North America, as part of the grass-roots DIY scene, Dan released a series of lo-fi EPs, quietly amassing a cult following for his songwriting before returning to the studio with his band for a second album “New Gods” which was nominated for both Scottish Album of the Year 2014 (SAY Awards) and a UK AIM Independent Music Award.

A long-awaited third Withered Hand album “How To Love” was released on Reveal Records in 2023 to widespread critical acclaim and ecstatic live shows; heralding the return to prominence of a singular songwriting voice. In 2024, Dan’s friendship and creative partnership with Mercury-Prize nominated English singer-songwriter Kathryn Williams yielded a collaborative album, ‘Willson Williams’, featuring a suite of co-written songs supported by an array of Scottish-based musical talent. ‘Willson Williams” was released in April 2024 on One Little Independent Records, entering the UK Official Folk Charts Top Ten and was subsequently shortlisted for the 2024 Scottish Album of the Year Award, winning the public vote.

Dan is currently working on a fourth Withered Hand LP which will be released in 2026 and showcased as part of his live tour.

Age Restrictions: Over 14 Only / Under 18 with an adult

Withered Hand is the pseudonym of Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Dan Willson. Since the release of his debut album ‘Good News’ in 2009, Dan has become a celebrated figure in the Scottish music scene and further afield. A well-travelled touring singer-songwriter, he has quietly amassed a devoted fanbase while staying true to a singular artistic vision.

Sister Maps formed at the end of 2025, inspired by the history of great Glasgow indie bands such as The Spook School, Life Without Buildings, and BMX Bandits.

Despite its title, Ratboys’ new album Singin’ to an Empty Chair is not defined by what’s missing. Rather, it’s the beginning of an important dialogue with a close loved one vocalist Julia Steiner finds herself estranged from. The music on the band’s sixth studio album – its first for New West Records – fills the space that person left behind with 11 songs showcasing Ratboys at the peak of their powers — twangy, effervescent, as confident as they’ve ever been, and perhaps more emotionally interrogative than ever before.
