Usually someone else manages the page, but today I wanted to take a moment to post personally as the owner of Nonna Rina and Pesce e Patan.
I would like to say how truly proud I am of our entire team and the standards we have worked hard to build over the last 8 years.
Many people expect an Italian restaurant or takeaway to have only Italian staff in the kitchen or front of house, but our team is proudly made up of people from different backgrounds including Italian, Polish, Indian, Romanian, and Scottish. For me, what matters most is passion, respect, cleanliness, teamwork, and the care we give to every customer.
Over the past 8 years, I have personally trained my staff to always work with professionalism, attention to hygiene, and respect for every customer who walks through our doors. Seeing how they work today makes me incredibly proud.
The more I visit other restaurants and takeaways, the more I appreciate the effort and professionalism of our own team. It reminds me how important good training, consistency, and high standards really are.
As customers ourselves, we all notice the small details when visiting places to eat. Simple things like good hygiene practices, cleanliness, and careful food handling make a huge difference to how comfortable and confident people feel.
in a cheeky but honest way… can we all agree on one thing please? 😅 If you scratch your face, touch your mouth count cash, rub your nose, and then go straight back to making somebody’s sandwich… that’s not “extra flavour”
And one more thing… I don’t make videos every day to promote my takeaway like many others do. I promote myself with cleanliness, hygiene, standards, and the way we look after our customers. See you tonight ciao!!!!’
