Hi folks,

Our Trustee Caoimhe is running the Amsterdam Marathon this October to raise funds for our charity.

This is Caoimhe's story:

''This year, I’ve set myself my biggest challenge yet, running my first ever marathon. After a difficult 2025, I wanted to focus my energy on something positive, so I set a goal that would push me and hopefully make a difference.

I’m proud to be running in support of The Courtyard Pantry Enterprise (CPE), a community food organisation that’s close to my heart. CPE provides so much more than food, it focuses on dignity, opportunity, and hope. Through its pantry, fresh fruit and veg market, after school provision, café, and social enterprise, CPE ensures families have access to nutritious and appropriate meals. This is something no one should ever struggle for.

What makes CPE special is that it doesn’t stop at tackling food insecurity. It is also a fair work employer, offering meaningful employment opportunities to people facing barriers to work. I have been involved in CPE for nearly four years, as member of their board and in that time I have watched them grow and grow to meet the increasing need in their local community.

The funding climate has been incredibly challenging for charities across the country. Now more than ever, organisations like CPE need support to keep delivering their essential services.

If you can donate any pounds or pennies to this cause, it would be so appreciated. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps CPE continue providing vital support to families and individuals across our community.

Thank you for supporting me and helping turn miles into impact''

If you are able to spare some pennies or hopefully pounds, please click on the link below.

Thank you.

📢 A change to our Pantry hours from October

Starting in October, the Pantry will be open 10am to 2pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. That's a change from our current 10am to 3pm hours.

We know changes like this matter, so we wanted to be upfront about why. Our arrangements with our food supplier have changed, including when deliveries arrive during the week, and we've also noticed fewer folk coming in during the afternoons, whilst our mornings remain busy.

We're not changing what we do or why we do it. We're just making sure our hours match our resources, so the Pantry Hub can keep serving this community for the long haul.

Thank you for your understanding.

The Team at the Pantry Hub 🧡

This Saturday at The Courtyard Pantry, our food market is back with an even bigger range of provisions for the community 👀

We’ve expanded our shelves to include salted caramel almonds from Forest Feast, chocolate fudge bites from Montezuma’s, Hillhouse Honeybees Hot Honey (made right here in Glasgow at the Barras 🐝), and San Marzano tomatoes 🍅alongside all your old favourites.

It’s the perfect chance to explore something different, stock up on treats 🍫, and support local makers.

Pop by, say hello, and pick up something special for the weekend!
