The Glasgow institution, back at the decks — Sub Club resident from '82, 23 years at The Buff Club, records out on Soma and Afro Art. Soul, jazz, funk and latin from one of the city's deepest crates. 9pm till 1am.

SATURDAY — Mark Robb, on a Saturday for once.
Our reel-to-reel man moves to the weekend's big night — vinyl and tape, music played off the formats it was made for. 9pm till 1am.

Twenty-five years deep in record-shop vinyl culture, a working DJ every weekend, and a man who's helped build and curate audiophile bars across the country. Underground house, disco and boogie through to obscure Balearic, world beats and leftfield soul.

Jack Brown and Matty Melvin, going record for record. Matty's making his Left Bank debut, but he's no stranger to the decks — expect deep house and groovy disco all night.
9pm till 1am.

FRIDAY 10 JULY — Malcolm McKenzie
Malcolm’s monthly Friday residency. One of our favourite DJs since we opened — soul, funk and beyond, second Fridays from here on. 9pm till 1am.

SATURDAY 11 JULY — John McLaughlin
Queen Street Soul Club comes to Gibson Street. John runs the all-vinyl soul club down in Northamptonshire — and he happens to be the owner Jims brother. 60s ska, 70s disco, 80s 2Tone and Motown, all night, all on wax. The McLaughlin brothers, back to back a week after the 20th. 9pm till 1am.

The Left Bank turns 20. 🎉

Twenty years to the night since we first opened on Gibson Street, and we're marking it with a free party on Friday 3rd July, 9pm till 1am.

Healthy resident Ewan Chambers (DJ Table) on the decks all night, vinyl across disco, house and soul. In partnership with Brewgooder, with a welcome drink for the first to arrive.

Independent since 2006, reimagined in 2026. Come and celebrate with us. Free entry, all welcome.
