I just want to take the time to personally thank each and every person who has been into the shop today, reached out through message and phone call and for everyone’s lovely comments on my post this morning. Life can be so challenging and running a business whilst you’re going through a sh*tty time isn’t the easiest thing either 😂 It really does mean the world to me realising how much support I have from people especially people who don’t even know me. I just want to start by saying I’m really sorry that Maggie’s has been closed this week. 💚

I’ll be completely open with you all — my head and my heart just haven’t been in it this week. I got to the point where I genuinely wanted to sell the shop and walk away from it all.

I’ve been so caught up in my own head, overthinking everything and, more importantly, listening far too much to the irrelevant voices and opinions in the background instead of remembering WHY I started Maggie’s in the first place.

Sometimes you need a few days to clear your head, shut out the noise and remind yourself what actually matters.

Maggie’s means far too much to me to give up on. It carries my granny’s name, and I started this place to create something she would be proud of.

So I am back bigger and better than ever!

My head is clearer, the fire is back in my belly, and I’m ready to give Maggie’s absolutely everything I’ve got. I know there will be good days and hard days, but I’m not letting other people or my own doubts take away from what I’ve worked so hard to build.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Maggie’s, checked in on me and continued to believe in the wee café. It genuinely means more than you’ll ever know.

Here’s to a fresh start, a clear head and making my granny proud. ❤️

Happy Friday everyone ! Bit of a different post today. A massive happy 30th birthday to my partner Mark. Mark has been Maggie’s biggest supporter since the very first day when the opportunity came up for me to open my own cafe, he’s constantly pushing me and backing me to do the best and be the best I can, never wavers and always listens to me complaining I’m shattered everyday 😂 I couldn’t do life without him and he plays a big part in Maggie’s and I can’t think him enough for everything he does 🥰❤️ Happy 30th Birthday Mark❤️. On another note we’re open till 3:30 today so come along and see us, we have chicken and rice soup today and don’t forget we’ve got the infamous hot sugar donuts !!! Starting today you will be able to get your hands on THE best sugar donuts around! Don’t believe ? Then come and find out for yourself you won’t be disappointed !
