🗣CALLING ALL ICE CREAM LOVERS! 🍦

Our OG scooper Mae (that has been with Peacock's since our early Dockyard Social days!) has gotten herself a proper adult job so we are looking to hire a *permanent* scooper.

This role is for 2 x shifts a week (around 17 hours) plus more to cover other staff, if need be. You absolutely must be a positive and friendly individual who loves food and isn't fazed by a queue out the door. Bonus points if you love dill pickles, Taylor Swift and the

🍡🌸🍡🌸🍡 SAKURA SEASON IS HERE 🍡🌸🍡🌸🍡

Every year at we celebrate spring with my favourite flavour, Sakura (a.k.a. cherry blossom), which is made with locally foraged cherry blossoms from Pollokshields!

Taking inspiration from Hanami (flower viewing parties) in Japan and Hanami Dango (a traditional Japanese sweet), our flavours this year compliment Sakura with Hokkaido milk and matcha with white chocolate. 🍡🍡🍡

Hokkaido, the northernmost of Japan's main islands, is known for its milk - which is higher in fat and slightly sweet. We have made a simple milk flavour - our take on fior di latte: mostly Hokkaido milk, a splash of cream and no egg.

Back again this year is our Sakura float: housemade sakura syrup with soda water, a scoop of your choice, whipped cream and a cherry (can also be made vegan). Also back is our Sakura Sundae: matcha and vanilla ice cream topped off with Sakura fluff.

When you visit us at , you’re doing more than buying a scoop of ice cream; you’re helping sustain a whole local ecosystem. Our milk and double cream comes from - a small, family-run farm in East Kilbride, where generations of farmers care for their land and animals with pride. By sourcing locally, we help ensure these farms can continue to thrive.

We also believe in investing in our community so we’re proud to pay (at least) the Real to our fantastic staff. In turn, they live locally (most of the staff live on the Southside!), shop locally, and support other independent businesses in Glasgow.

It’s a simple idea: when you buy local, the benefits ripple outward. From the farmers who produce our milk and cream to the people who scoop your ice cream, every cone helps keep a circular local economy turning.

Heated Rivalry menu reveal!

When our Shift Manager/ "Coneisseur" chef, Ellis, suggested a themed menu I was IMMEDIATELY "omigawdyes!" As a Canadian, it is essentially my civic duty to oblige! 🫡🇨🇦

Our flavours are inspired by the two great hockey rivals : Boston and Montreal! Boston Cream Pie is a vanilla custard ice cream with gooey vanilla cake chunks and a chocolate fudge swirl. And for Montreal, obviously we gotta do a bagel flavour to rep the 💫BEST💫 bagels in the world. I SAID WHAT I SAID! 🥯👊

Naturally we have a Blue Moon Over Brooklyn smoothie - a blueberry and banana sorbet!

And finally, we have a Boston Cooler: a (Shane's favourite) float with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Please note: we should hopefully have this either later today (Wednesday) or Thursday depending on when (if?) Yodel deliver it to us. 😬

Launching TODAY!

Five of Glasgow’s independent ice cream makers: Peacock’s Ice Cream, Minted Ice Cream, La Gelatessa, Newlands Café, and Nowita, have joined forces to launch the Winter Ice Cream Passport Tour, running Friday 9th January to 31 March 2026.

Customers collect stamps in their ice cream passports by visiting all five shops and buying a scoop at each, then earn two free scoops once the passport is full at their choice of any two shops. It’s a citywide celebration of artisan makers and a way to bring joy to the winter months. ❄️

Ice cream passports available at each location while supplies last. So grab your bestie and get exploring the amazing frozen treats across our fine city! 🍦
