PART-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY (Café/Bar/Kitchen staff)
We are looking to add 2 new part-time staff members to our café team for 2-3 shifts a week.
We’re open 12 noon until 10pm Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday and 12 noon until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, so are looking for someone with flexibility across these days and times.
Proven recent hospitality experience is essential as we can get pretty busy at times, so café, kitchen and/or bar experience and knowing your way around an espresso machine is a must. WSET wine qualifications would be a bonus.
Our customers, Radio DJs/presenters, volunteers, collaborators, suppliers and delivery drivers come from all sorts of backgrounds and walks of life so we are looking for someone who is comfortable and enjoys communicating and engaging with different types of people, being helpful & friendly and generally maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Café Buena Vida is a small space, but it can be fast paced, and there’s always lots to do. so we’re looking for a team player/grafter, able to multitask, stay calm under pressure and use their own initiative.
We all muck in here which includes coffees, food prep, cocktail and wine service, dishes… and also cleaning the toilet!
