Wishing everyone involved in Colmonell and Ballantrae Agricultural Show charity tractor run a successful day. For those asking sadly they won't be going through the village this year, but as many of our local farmer's are involved I'm sure you'll see them pass through later when they're heading back home 🚜

Another holiday weekend with traffic lights at our entrance & no work actually taking place. Apparently due to the original water leak not actually being fixed last week 😔

‼️Yes we are OPEN despite yet another set of traffic lights right at our main entrance‼️

Yesterday we had two work vehicles parked in our carpark for the entire day. The men on site were waiting on traffic lights arriving before they could dig a hole. (Apparently there's been a burst water main outside for weeks). Traffic lights finally arrived late yesterday afternoon & the men dug the hole.
Today no men on site to repair or complete works! Yes, it's a holiday weekend. Work van on site is here to ensure traffic lights are working & advised he's likely to be here for several day's!! Bank Holiday weekend and our wee business suffers again.

We all want repairs done & sincerely appreciate the "men on site" have a job to do but surely the powers that be could put a little more thought into the impact of their decisions 🤔
